Welcome: Inn From the Cold Inc. is a non-profit organization manned by trained volunteers, providing emergency food, clothing and shelter to the homeless since 2004. We are open 5 nights per week, plus any night when the temperature drops below -15C.

Y’all it’s back! The 2010 Wild Wild West Hoedown will take place on Saturday, September 18.
Inn From The Cold partners with the Magna Hoedown! Inn From the Cold has been selected as a recipient organization of funds raised at the 2010 “Wild Wild West” Hoedown. As a recipient organization, Inn From the Cold will be responsible for fulfilling a number of requirements that are vital to the success of the Hoedown, including: Providing at least 20 volunteers who will be available to work during the week of the event; Selling a minimum of 40 event tickets and 1000 raffle tickets; Assembling a team of at least 4 individuals who will be responsible for various Hoedown duties (e.g., coordinating raffle and event ticket sales, poster distribution, etc.);
Sales of raffle tickets will be at the Inn from 7:pm-9:pm on following dates:Wed. July 28th, Tuesday Aug. 10th 17th and 31st .
Tickets will be sold at the Farmer’s Market each Saturday from 8:00a.m-1:00p.m.

This includes volunteers, students and employees of the service provider. York Region has developed an Accessible Customer Service training video to help contractors and agents train those who require Accessible Customer Service training. |

An opportunity to volunteer outside the Shelter! We participate in the Aladdin Newmarket Charities Association -Bingo It is a great Fundraising Opportunity for the IFTC. We require volunteers to participate in this out of shelter activity. This a year round activity and will contribute significantly to our fundraising efforts and the running of the shelter.
We need some more volunteers to form another team (usually 4 people per team) Each team will be provided a training session. A current Police check must be on file.
Each team works a 5 hour shift, just once every two months. IFTC: COMMUNITY MEAL Will start serving again in the Fall of 2010!
