Miscellaneous DONATIONS (clothing, Food etc)  Welcome: Inn From the Cold Inc. is a non-profit organization manned by trained volunteers, providing emergency food, clothing and shelter to the homeless since 2004. We are open 5 nights per week, plus any night when the temperature drops below -15C.

It's our Fall Open House & Volunteer Registration Month Kick-Off!. Visit us @ 510 Penrose and bring a friend. Find out what we do at the Inn.Become a volunteer and part of our team to help our lessfortunate neighbours find a warm place, a meal, a shower, a bed and breakfast ........ Inn from the cold. Refreshments and entertainment.
And a bunch of good folks will be onhand to help youbetter understand the work we do at the Inn. Basic training is MANDATORY before volunteers can do a shift! Monday, October 4th @ 7:00pm to 8:30pm Thursday, November 4th @ 7:00pm to 8:30pm Saturday, November 6th 1:00pm to 2:30pm (Additional dates may be offered depending upon demand) ******************************************************************************* New ‘Shift Leader’ Training:

This includes volunteers, students and employees of the service provider. York Region has developed an Accessible Customer Service training video to help contractors and agents train those who require Accessible Customer Service training. |

An opportunity to volunteer outside the Shelter! We participate in the Aladdin Newmarket Charities Association -Bingo It is a great Fundraising Opportunity for the IFTC. We require volunteers to participate in this out of shelter activity. This a year round activity and will contribute significantly to our fundraising efforts and the running of the shelter.
We need some more volunteers to form another team (usually 4 people per team) Each team will be provided a training session. A current Police check must be on file.
Each team works a 5 hour shift, just once every two months.
